Today’s world can be intense and stressful, and it’s taking an unprecedented toll on kids, teens, and families. Bend Health’s collaborative care model relies on therapy to help families manage the ups and downs of everyday life. These challenges could involve managing emotions, challenging negative thinking, and reducing stress and anxiety.
What is ASP:
The acute stabilization program (ASP) is a structured treatment program for pediatric patients (ages 13-17) with depression and/or anxiety that allows them to receive therapy and support while living at home and going to school. It will involve 3 hours of programming, 3 days a week including group therapy, art therapy, mindfulness, yoga and education in addition to individual and family therapy sessions. This program offers a higher level of care compared to traditional outpatient treatment for patients and families who most need it.
